The Real Hanoi Jane is a traitor
11.16.04 (6:46 pm)   [edit]

She really was a traitor.

A TRAITOR IS ABOUT TO BE HONORED
KEEP THIS MOVING ACROSS AMERICA

This is for all the kids born in the 70's who do
not remember, and didn't have to bear the
burden that our fathers, mothers and older
brothers and sisters had to bear.

Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the
"100 Women of the Century."

Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still
countless others have never known how Ms.
Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country,
but specific men who served and sacrificed
during Vietnam.

The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot.

The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat.

In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF
Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison
the "Hanoi Hilton."

Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell,
cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was
ordered to describe for a visiting American
"Peace Activist" the "lenient and humane
treatment" he'd received.

He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was
dragged away.
During the subsequent beating, he fell forward
on to the camp Commandant's feet, which
sent that officer berserk.

In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from
double vision (which permanently ended his
flying career) from the Commandant's frenzied
application of a wooden baton.

From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the
47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the
"Hanoi Hilton",,, the first three of which his
family only knew he was "missing in action".
His wife lived on faith that he was still alive.
His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and
clothed routine in preparation for a
"peace delegation" visit.
They, however, had time and devised a plan to
get word to the world that they were alive
and still survived. Each man secreted a tiny
piece of paper, with his Social Security Number
on it, in the palm of his hand.

When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a
cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each
man's hand and asking little encouraging
snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed
babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane
treatment from your benevolent captors?"
Believing this HAD to be an act, they each
palmed her their sliver of paper.
She took them all without missing a beat. At the
end of the line and once the camera stopped
rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs,
she turned to the officer in charge and handed
him all the little pieces of paper.

Three men died from the subsequent beatings.
Colonel Carrigan was almost number four
but he survived, which is the only reason we
know of her actions that day.

I was a civilian economic development advisor
in Vietnam, and was captured by the North
Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in
1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.

I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one
year in a cage in Cambodia; and one year
in a "black box" in Hanoi.
My North Vietnamese captors deliberately
poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a
nurse in a leprosarium in Ban me Thuot, South
Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the
Cambodian border.
At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs.
(My normal weight is 170 lbs.)

We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals."

When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by
the camp communist political officer if I would
be willing to meet with her.

I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real
treatment we POWs received... and how
different it was from the treatment purported by
the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as
"humane and lenient."

Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky
floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched
with a large steel weights placed on my hands,
and beaten with a bamboo cane.

I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda
soon after I was released. I asked her
if she would be willing to debate me on TV.
She never did answer me.

These first-hand experiences do not exemplify
someone who should be honored as part
of "100 Years of Great Women."
Lest we forget..." 100 Years of Great Women"
should never include a traitor whose hands are
covered with the blood of so many patriots.

There are few things I have strong visceral
reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in
blatant treason, is one of them.
Please take the time to forward to as many
people as you possibly can.
It will eventually end up on her computer and
she needs to know that we will never forget.

Ten Reasons to Vote for Kerry
10.25.04 (12:25 am)   [edit]
1. You are a Marxist Democrat.

2. You see the UN as the future world governor and like the idea.

3. You hate violence unless it is directed at conservatives, Republicans, or anyone who disagrees with you.

4. You find the idea of killing Jews in Israel more acceptable than detaining and interrogating Islamic terrorists.

5. Guns are bad except in the hands of police or Islamic terrorists.

6. You want a first lady who is an elitist euro-phile who sucks down gin soaked raisins hourly and curses like a HO.

7. You don't mind a con artist as your President though you hated Nixon for his one lie.

9. You want a blood sucking trial lawyer V.P. one heartbeat away from running the country.

10. You believe the government is the best answer to solve problems except when run by Republicans.

Early voting brings cries of bullying...

Bush/Cheney Cincinnati headquarters robbed...

Republican Party headquarters in Flagstaff vandalized...

Republican Party senior adviser Mindy Tucker Fletcher said she had more than a dozen affidavits from voters around the state that would be forwarded to Hood's office.

According to the affidavits Fletcher released:

One woman who voted early in Boca Raton, at the Southwest County Regional Library, complained that as she stood in line, two men behind her were "trashing our president," Fletcher said, declining to identify the woman. She tried to ignore them. Then the man touched her arm and said, "Who are you voting for?"

"I said, `I don't think that's an appropriate question,'" the woman said she responded.

"Uh oh! We have a Bush supporter here," screamed the man behind her.

For the 2 1/2 hours she had to wait in line, she was heckled by the man. As they neared the voting room, someone in the rear of the line yelled, "I sure hope everyone here is voting for Kerry!" she reported.

That's when the man behind her held his hand over her head and screamed, "We have a Republican right here!" There were "boos and jeers" from the crowd.

"I felt intimidated, harassed and threatened!" the woman wrote in her complaint to the Republican Party.

Elaine Fandino complained to the Republican Party that she took her mother to vote on South Military Trail in Palm Beach County and was confronted by 25 people supporting John Kerry for president. The crowd was "very angry and used foul language," she reported. She said the man next to her said, "Where's my shotgun?"

In Broward County, at the regional library in Pembroke Pines, a voter complained that Kerry supporters used abusive language about President Bush and had signs and banners within 50 feet of the entrance.

Kerry supporters were "shoving anti-Bush propaganda at us," complained the voter, who said he shouted back "Vote President Bush!"

A woman who voted in Plantation at the West Regional Courthouse said she was offended to see five or six people with "huge stick on badges" for Kerry/Edwards, standing near the voting machines.

"Never in all the years of voting do we remember being allowed to show a badge or poster or literature while inside the area where the voters are standing ready to cast their vote," she wrote.

Juan D'Arce of Miami complained to the Republicans that he tried early voting in downtown Miami. He was wearing a Bush pin, but he couldn't stand the taunting, so he turned away and did not vote.

My Halliburton Vacation - WMDs Found
10.17.04 (9:41 am)   [edit]
Hello all of my fellow compatriots and you lefties out there. Sorry I haven't been around to help keep the discussion alive. I know I missed lots of great lib screeds on how all Bush supporters are Nazis. It makes my heart warm to think that our opponents think of us as so well dressed, you know those Nazi uniforms were rather spiffy, especially with the high collars.

Anyway, to the subject.

I had some fun over there in the hot and sweaty part of the world for the past 3 weeks, part of my job. Things are going better in Iraq than you lib media types will care to admit. By that I mean that the oil is flowing and my Bush buddies are raking in lots of cash from slimy non-competitive contracts. Isn't that what you left leaning pro-commie fruitcakes want to hear.

You don't want to hear that people in most cities aren't getting bombed.

You don't want to hear that lots of kids are getting into schools that didn't exist before the war, girls especially.

Best of all, you don't want to hear that some Iraqis take seriously the idea that they have an opportunity to chart their own direction without the boot-heel of a dictator threatening their lives. Instead they have to fight against the Islamic insugents whom, like the left is here, are intent on forcing their poxed view of the world on the citizenry.

I also want you to know that I found the reason why the WMDs disappeared.

Michael Moore ate them. :)

When Bush Wins
09.30.04 (1:51 pm)   [edit]
I just want to see if you guys are awake out there. All I see are anti-bush headlines. I feel overwhelmed. Here is my own spin.

Since Bush and his supporters are nothing but Nazis according to the left we will do this in you-wish-we-were-Nazi-spe ak. Be careful what you wish for, it might give us ideas.

When Bush wins I expect to be made Gauleiter of the Internet.

Using the patriot act secretly known as the axis of evil act added to the axis powers agreement signed in Berlin 1936 the following actions will commence.

Tribunals and flying blog squads will round up those guilty of disloyalty to the concept of fairness as defined by the winning party and its representatives.

Commit all resources available in the aptly renamed Fatherland Security Agency to study and correct all questionable writings that have been posted on the Internet.

Bloggers found guilty of any crimes and any actions deemed crimes would be sent to labor and re-education camps. Work will consist of cleaning up debris from the newly created minefield border between the U.S. and Mexico. Watch your step.

No computers or writing materials will be available.

Re-education: Readings of the Original bill of Rights and the Constitution.

Guns will lie in stacks everywhere. No ammunition provided. You will then learn what it is like to want the tools to fight oppression. This is a twelve-step process.

Other punishments will include required bathing and forced viewing of the following movies.

Red Dawn - Once daily
The Manchurian Candidate - 1st version
Sands of Iwo Jima
ToBruk
Starship Troopers
The Guns of Navarone
Why We Fight
Knob Hill Machine gun shootout
Soldier of fortune convention series
The Cross of Iron
Sea Power Series
We Were Soldiers

Daily morning and evening replays of the Bush Florida Certification in 2000. Those acting out will be strapped in their chairs and tranquilized while their eyes are held open in Clockwork Orange style.

Daily readings of "Unfit for Command" will be given and attendance is mandatory.

Upon one year of internment and completion of a loyalty test individuals will be released into the newly formatted society known as Version 4 where all previous versions will be removed and the reset date for the country will be 1950.

Those unable to adapt will be shipped off to Canada or France.

Anyone can avoid this treatment by going to Saudi Arabia or Iran and showing evidence that they attempted to protest for Democrat style reforms. Those with a head still remaining may reapply for U.S. Citizenship. We will get back to you on it.

Just a thought.

Flipper 2
09.30.04 (1:30 am)   [edit]
The second flipper is a paid party hack blogger that spams this site with endless postings that he grabs from the Dem-war-room ministry of propaganda. Most of his screeds aren't worth reading. Some are entertaining in the way you might want to guess which designer chemicals he experimented with to achieve the level of paranoia and delusional rantings he has posted.

No this isn't about the dolphin. I liked him and considered him intelligent compared to the nuanced one.

Presidential contender Kerry has a problem sticking to one side of an argument.

Kerry got his butt handed to him by Diane Sawyer when she asked him about his "voted for it before I voted against it comment."

The fool told her he was tired since it was a late night appearance. It turns out it was in the middle of the day. His misstatements are aren't helping him.

As Mark Twain once said, "Stick to the truth, it's easier to remember."

Anybody but Kerry.

Flipsidedown blog blocked
09.29.04 (11:09 pm)   [edit]
I guess I must have posted some unpopular comments on this flipsidedown's blog. I have been blocked and am not sure if all users have been.

If so, this is just to let everyone know that reading a blog that doesn't allow comments feels like a waste of time.

A few other lib bloggers told me they blocked comments due to threats. A number of them allowed me to post after asking them about it. Thanks for being reasonable.

I haven't made any against anyone. So please, unless I am really nasty to you, do not prevent me from posting on your blog. Otherwise, I simply won't bother reading anything you post and will recommend others do the same.

Lib - Blocked Blogs
09.28.04 (8:45 am)   [edit]
Don't Waste Your Time - these are agitprop flyers from the Pro-Dem Camp.

This is a current list of blocked blogs in the political section that have disabled the comment function.

These are all Democrat-Liberal blogs. Moderates and Right Wingers might not want to waste their time on these unless they plan to post a blog to counter these postings.

These sites are the equivalent of someone screaming at you while they wear headphones. Not much communication here.

Liberal Blogs
09.27.04 (8:08 pm)   [edit]
I have begun to notice a pattern where the leftie blogs do not allow comments. It seems they are still clinging to the old media ways of controlling opinion and not allowing alternate thoughts.

If you don't have the courage to accept commentary it is evident that you know your postings would not stand up against factual rebuttal.

I just read something from a patriot post. Since no comments are allowed on his site, here is my position on Osama's fate.

You mean to tell me he couldn't find a video camera to give a short interview and cheer his supporters. He is dead.

He is dead because his bloated ego wouldn't allow him to hide this long.

I think a MOAB left him as a stain on a cave wall in Afghanistan.

Osama pâté de foie gras anyone?

Commie Kerry
09.26.04 (6:47 pm)   [edit]
This is a copy of my reply to a comment on my blog posting "Beheading."

My contention is that Kerry is a dyed in the wool international communist point-man reporting for duty as the real Manchurian Candidate. He did everything to help them win all the way down to his Senate votes. He has sold the country out so many times that it is hard to list them in one posting. We will focus on central America here.

Nice try.
I was alive during this time and know a few things about the situation in Central America. Too bad more libs didn't show up in the jungles down there.

To reply to your list of assertions:

Sandinistas were another communist dictatorship slipped into power by the promise of agrarian reform, the usual scam that started in 1917 Russia, then China, and later throughout Asia and eventually to Central and South America. Once in, they held it with an Iron fist and did nothing for the populace but change ownership to the new leaders. The only difference from Somoza was the color of the armband.

You are repeating the claptrap most of the lefties did who supported all the communist insurgencies throughout the world. The good news is that many of the lib fools who showed up down there, other than rock stars, never came back. They learned a bit too late that running your mouth is not the same as fighting a war and quickly became maggot meat.

The treason was on the part of the members of Congress infiltrated by the likes of Kerry, Wright, and other left leaning pro-commie traitors to the cause of freedom and America. The Dear Commandante letter signed by this bunch should have landed them all in prison for interfering with foreign policy, an executive power. Kerry went down to Nicaragua to visit Ortega for a nice chat about how to win the war for the communists by the ruse of the conformity with the Contadora Act. Others went down to sing songs with Chris Christopherson in honor of the Sandinistas. Even comrade Bruce Springsteen was in on the act of supporting the Sandinistas. http://www.free-times.com/Usu...

Reagan's only mistake was not telling Congress that the Boland Amendment was illegal. Taking it to a leftie Supreme Court wouldn't have saved him from the outcome. Understandably, he was worried about impeachment at the hands of a left leaning Democrat majority congress. So he punted and let Admiral Poindexter take the fall. Too late for the commies though, we won.

Ollie North's good ole boys sold Iran junk parts through Israel that were later given to the Contras. Big deal. You are upset because your side not only got their butts handed to them on the battlefield, but also when free elections were held, the proletariat voted their benevolent masters out for good. Do you remember that Dona Violetta de Chomorro put Ortega out of power? Noam Chomsky spent years railing like a Trotskyite that we stole that election. Of course Ortega’s greedy bunch transferred lots of real estate to themselves in between the scheduled election and the swearing in ceremony. Sounds a bit like an Enron kind of thing done by communists subsumed with avarice, and still reeking with the stench of their greed for power.

One man's right wing paramilitary militia is another man's homeland security force. The left has used the Orwell definition of word bastardization to great effect. Communist revolutionary guards = agrarian reformers. Military rule supported by business = Right wing Junta with death squads.

Whatever the Atlacatl Battalion did in El Salvador is nothing compared with the atrocities guaranteed by a communist dictator.

The mess in Columbia you try to blame on the USA is a combination of Narco traffickers, two different pro-Marxist liberation armies (agrarian reform groups) all aligned against the admittedly corrupt government. A blockade might be the best way to help that place.

Lefties who supported the Shining Path Maoists in Peru have found that the tide is working against them as well.

Ronald Reagan's freedom fighters, the Contras, did kill lots of communists. That is good. Daniel Ortega's Sandinistas did their dirtiest to maintain power just like any other dictator would and left lots of bodies trailing behind him. I don't blame him for that any more than I blame Stalin for his excesses. After all, Commies and Nazis are people too. We just have different feelings about the way the world should be run. Isn't that the equivocal way the left views the world?

The logic trail ended when a self-selected elite ordained that a theoretical system of economic governance, Marxism/Communism, could operate a society more effectively than one serving human nature’s quest for liberty.

Kerry caused more freedom seeking men to die by his actions in Paris with the North Vietnamese and the Sandinistas in Nicaragua than any right wing death squads ever did.

Anybody but Kerry.

Democrats and Hitler
09.25.04 (6:02 pm)   [edit]
It seems there are those calling themselves patriots out there intent on sliming the Democrat party by making outrageously dirty claims against the Bush family. I am here to defend the Democrats against such underhanded tactics since such behavior can only reflect back upon them.

First: Hitler and Stalin wanted power for life.

I know President Roosevelt didn't care much about the Jews but he would never have allowed their internment into camps if he knew it would risk some votes back home. He was after all, hoping to maintain his control over the country for a life term, much like an Emperor. He was a singularly power greedy soul, but after his death his replacement, Truman, proved a better man. Congress wisely limited Presidents to two terms shortly thereafter. Only Clinton would later lament the principles of a Republic that required the President to voluntarily relinquish power. Most other Dems would never think such thoughts. So far, Bush hasn't shown signs of wanting a third term.

Second: Why you round people up is more important that what happens to them.

Rounding up Japanese and European immigrants and putting them into U.S. internment camps was not the same thing as what Hitler did. FDR only did it to gain security for the country where Hitler was still pissed about his failed art career that he blamed on a bad review from a Jew. Who had a better reason? I know some of you leftie artsy types might go for the bad review, but I suppose FDR had a more reasoned justification. There was a difference. But don't count the dead in Germany. The left never did when it came to the various Communist revolutions they supported. Bush counts the dead every day starting with the nearly 3000 killed in NY on 9/11.

Third: Don't count the dead. Dictators never worry about body counts when it comes to moving the country forward.

Stalin and Mao were favorites of many left wing Democrats. JFK (John Forbes Kerry) liked the North Vietnamese. Despite this, I would not attempt to blame the atrocities that happened in the USSR, China, and Cambodia on the left wing fruitcakes that supported such policies. They had no way of knowing that their love affair with International communism would eventually lead to the loss of up to 100 million lives in the 20th century. Remember, if only one Democrat was against such things we couldn’t paint them all with the sins of the majority. For that reason, I have faith that Dems. Though some still use radical language and desire revolution and power at any cost, many are reasonable. The net savings in life in Iraq now that Saddam is gone will never be known. If by God's grace the Iraqi people find peace and representative government, the scale of the dead tips in the favor of freedom; A gift from America.

Finally:
I want all Democrats to know that some of us who are not Republicans or Democrats see the current political situation from a distant perspective. If Kerry wins, ok. He will be limited in his power by a congress that will likely be against him. Gridlock is good.

If Bush wins, barring rebellion from the left, things won't be much different. There are just a few areas where you might find some variance.

Terrorists will be in for a rough time under Bush. That is hard to imagine under Kerry. He wants to talk to them. I want the same thing, but not for peaceful negotiations.

According to Democrats our civil rights will be trampled. I suppose it will be much like how liberal courts have forced us to give up many cultural precepts that created this great Country. So what. This experiment in freedom has to run the course eventually. The pendulum can swing back as long as the citizens are armed to the teeth, which we are. To paraphrase someone named TJ, "The tree of liberty needs to get the roots soaked now and then, preferably with the blood of tyrants." Saddam and sons will do for now.

Liberal Democrats say we will go broke under Bush. It is my money too. I say piss it away on bullets instead of depends and Viagra for seniors. We were going broke under the Democrat designed Social Security System, Medicare, and SSI. The last century may have been an anomaly. Get used to the idea of living in poverty like the rest of the world and die while working. Retirement is BS anyway. I know since I've tried it. Work is Adam's curse but it keeps us from thinking about Adam's other curse, sex and the attendant cost in sanity and cash.

Under Kerry we will probably go broke on social programs. Under Bush we may go broke killing terrorists. Personally, I'd rather be crushing enemies and defending the innocent. It is good chicken soup for the soul.

Imagine the rotten hag that you once dearly loved when she was young and beautiful. Now she does nothing but nag, complain, and demand. The love is still there, but you can't stand to hear her voice. This is how I feel about the Democrats. I loved them once for the things we believed in together. Damn you for changing. Now you have just become a regular pain. But, like a marriage, we are stuck with you in this better -than -what- else -is -out -there arrangement.

Love and Hugs,
HJ

Bend Over Dan
09.24.04 (7:49 pm)   [edit]
We won't be gentle.

I love to see Dan Rather squirming. He attempted to interfere with the election by pretending to have a story.

I hope this latest episode serves as a lesson to lefties in the media that the days of their complete control of the news is over.

My dream is to see Dan rather come out of the closet. He probably wears a tutu underneath his $5,000 suit.

Lib Drivers
09.24.04 (6:39 pm)   [edit]
I have an F-350 Diesel. I used to follow the rule that anytime I saw a Volvo driver or VW cabriolet driver that it was ok to cut them off, since they are liberals and would never dream of fighting over some perceived slight. Sorta like their 9/11 response.

Now, there are too many libs driving beamers, big SUV vehicles, and Xtremely expensive eurotrash vehicles that it is no longer easy to spot them by car type.

Any suggestions other than to look for Kerry Edwards bumper stickers.

Beheading
09.23.04 (4:47 pm)   [edit]
The latest killing of hostages should open some eyes. We are dealing with beasts. The two Italian women killed were aid workers. There is no acceptable rationality for this.

Another thing that bothers me. If I were there as a contractor, I would be armed from head to toe. I would not surrender or be taken given the outcome one can expect.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Military is charging some of our troops with murder. What the hell !!!

War just ain't what it used to be.

Flip-Flop Kerry
09.23.04 (4:02 pm)   [edit]
I just heard that John Kerry changed his mind again and is now against the war, but says he will train the Iraqis better, get more allies, blah blah blah.
This is amazing. I am beginning to feel sorry for the Dems who picked this crazy horse to run this race. Good luck with this waffle boy.

I think you Dems would've been better off with Hillary. At least she has a spine.

Nazi-Libs
09.23.04 (7:48 am)   [edit]
To those who call Bush and the Republicans Nazis. You are more fascist than they could ever become.

All of the accusations by the Pro-dem, Pro-Kerry, Anti-war groups are the same used here during Vietnam. The people who benefited from such extreme talk were the Communists back then. Now, it will be the Islamic terrorists.

Someday, you extreme lefties will have to actually risk something beside a handcuffing and a citation.

Your extreme talk, bordering on psychotic only serves to move those in the middle in a direction opposite to where you want them to go.

In the Vietnam, the mainstream instinctively supported the war as a response to your obvious disregard for our culture and for the actual reasons for fighting the communists. In Nicaragua the same people did and said the same thing while many of us did the heavy lifting and actually got rid of the threat down there.

The story is the same here. You have and continue to estrange people with this craziness. The tone of your talk sounds more aggressively violent than the image you hope to portray of Bush and the Republicans. Keep it up.

Many of us who witnessed or participated in Vietnam remember your type as the most worthless among us; selfish, arrogant, ignorant, and over-educated beyond your intelligence. Girlie-men.

Go stew in your bile. We will continue to protect your most worthless-butts simply because you live here, but you are free to go to some other place that places little value on individual liberties and American ideals.

The Road Less Graveled

(A down home message for Dan Rather in the colorful Texas idiom he so loves, from a CQ reader in the Lone Star State)

Y’all know what we all been thinkin’ out here in Texas, Dan, since you started all this foolishness? We think y’all been pissin’ down our necks an’ tellin’ us it’s rain for so long that you boys done got to believin’ it yourselves. Heck, we think maybe you been back East so long you got yourself thinkin’ us folks out here couldn’t hit sand if we fell off our horses; couldn’t hit water if we fell outta the boat. Danged if you ain’t been treatin’ us like you think we got squirrels swimmin’ in our gene pools or sumthin.’ You need to remind yourself that a tree don’t ever get too big for a short dog to lift his leg on, Dan.

Bout them documents bein’ genuine; well, hells-bells, Danny Boy, Grannie’s glasses are so thick, when she looks at a bare wall she see’s folks wavin’ at her, an’ even she can tell them memos are bout as phony as hips on a rattlesnake. We’re startin’ to think your brain done got harder than a woodpecker’s lips if you can’t see that. As far as that story bout George an’ his National Guard duty, looks to us like you’re tryin’ to put wheels on a cow an’ call it a dairy truck. Then you go pokin’ up her butt hopin’ you’re gonna find ice cream. Besides, ever time you durn fools put that picture of young George in his flyboy outfit on the TeeVee, ol’ Jane Fonda loses another herd of her Vagina Voters. Hell, Charlene says that sweet boy’s purtier than my new tangerine metalflake bass boat.

Well, Danny, you still ain’t lost all your redneck habits; you boys took one pickup load to the dump an’ come back with two. Dadgummit, Dan, where you gittin’ all this stuff? You been callin’ some kinda mystery numbers that ol’ boy, whatsisname, Kenneth, is bringin’ you offa bathroom walls at truck stops? Somethin’ you oughta be worryin’ about, Danny Boy: you know how the boys say when you go on a hunt always make sure to save a round for your huntin’ guide? Like if he don’t find nuthin’ else for you to shoot? You suppose any a them rich, fancy-shmancy, New York dudes you work for ever been on a hunt and heard that, Dan, hmmm?

You know how you always been fond a sayin’ you feel like a long tailed cat in a room full a rockin’ chairs? Well, seems to us like you’re startin’ to look more like the ground floor tenant in a two-story outhouse. Yeah, for sure you ain’t lookin’ like the tallest hog at the trough no more. Why, we bet you got yourself wired so tight right now that if we stuck a chunk a coal up your butt it’d come out a diamond in about five minutes. Last time we seen you on TeeVee your smile looked like Charlene’s little ol’ chihuahua dog that time he bit down on one a them ol’ yeller-jacket wasps; you know, kinda like that look a feller gets when he squats with his spurs on.

An’ about your boss, that city slicker fella, Johnnie Klein, the one said somethin’ bout all us sittin’ out here in our long johns? Well we’re gonna give him some advice so good he can take it out back an’ bury it in a Mason jar. You see, the fact is, Danny Boy, now that all us earthworms is gittin’ guns, you big birds is gonna have to be more careful bout where you’re peckin.’ Somebody needs to tell that dude, Klein, that his cage may still be turnin’ but his squirrel’s done died. Course, maybe the boy can’t help hisself; it might run in the family, you know, generic. We heard tell when he was born his ol’ momma carried the little feller around upside down for a whole year wonderin’ why he only had one eye.

Yeah them ol’ boys up there at Power Line done gone an’ slapped you dudes nekkid an’ hid your clothes. Them blogger cats watched you fellers jump in that ol’ litter box an’ they just flat covered you up, quicker ‘n slicker than WD 40 on a doorknob. Yeah you boys done gone skinny dippin’ in a pond full a snappin’ turtles. Looks like them broadcastin’ geniuses at CBS done let them yeller-dog Democrats talk you inta sellin’ your mule so you could buy a plow. When you crawled into the sack with little Miss McCauliffe you done got yourself a real ugly bed partner there, Dan, like a real three-bagger, I mean. You know the drill: one bag over her head, one over yours and one over the dog’s so’s at least he’ll have some respect for you come mornin.’

Before all y’all up there at CBS go tryin’ to saddle up another hog for a quarter horse race, you need to think about this: us ol’ boys out here know a keyboard ain’t where you hang the pickup keys and a byte ain’t what Bubba’s pit bull did to Cousin Billy; we know modem ain’t what we did when the weeds got up to the porch and digital ain’t countin’ on our fingers, least not any more. Yeah, we done got ourselves a dog in this fight, a bloggin’ pit bull, Dan Boy, an’ he’s justa slobberin’ for another big ol’ bite of Liberal blubber butt. Didn’t your ol’ daddy ever tell you that you ain’t never gonna be the brightest bulb on the tree if you go huntin’ bobcats with a BB gun?

But cheer up, Dan, maybe one a these days all you pointy-headed, liberal, media fellers will see the light. Course, seein’s where y’all seem to be keepin’ them pointy heads, it’ll prob’ly be one a them there things the doctors use.

Whatcha call ‘em, proctoscopes?

A Texan

P.S. Charlene says to tell you don’t even think about comin’ back to Texas. Way folks out here feel, you’d have to tie a pork chop around your neck just to get a dog to play with you. Well, and maybe Mollie Ivins.

French - are they losers?
09.22.04 (4:43 am)   [edit]
- Gallic Wars
- Lost. In a war whose ending foreshadows the next 2000 years of French
history, France is conquered by of all things, an Italian.

- Hundred Years War
- Mostly lost, saved at last by female schizophrenic who inadvertently
creates The First Rule of French Warfare; "France's armies are victorious
only when not led by a Frenchman." Sainted.

- Italian Wars
- Lost. France becomes the first and only country to ever lose two wars when
fighting Italians.

- Wars of Religion
- France goes 0-5-4 against the Huguenots

- Thirty Years War
- France is technically not a participant, but manages to get invaded
anyway. Claims a tie on the basis that eventually the other participants
started ignoring her.

- War of Revolution
- Tied. Frenchmen take to wearing red flowerpots as chapeaux.

- The Dutch War
- Tied

- War of the Augsburg League/King William's War/French and Indian War
- Lost, but claimed as a tie. Three ties in a row induces deluded
Frogophiles the world over to label the period as the height of French
military power.

- War of the Spanish Succession
- Lost. The War also gave the French their first taste of a Marlborough,
which they have loved every since.

- American Revolution
- In a move that will become quite familiar to future Americans, France
claims a win even though the English colonists saw far more action. This is
later known as "de Gaulle Syndrome", and leads to the Second Rule of French
Warfare; "France only wins when America does most of the fighting."

- French Revolution
- Won, primarily due the fact that the opponent was also French.

- The Napoleonic Wars
- Lost. Temporary victories (remember the First Rule!) due to leadership of
a Corsican, who ended up being no match for a British footwear designer.

- The Franco-Prussian War
- Lost. Germany first plays the role of drunk Frat boy to France's ugly girl
home alone on a Saturday night.

- World War I
- Tied and on the way to losing, France is saved by the United States.
Thousands of French women find out what it's like to not only sleep with a
winner, but one who doesn't call her "Fraulein." Sadly, widespread use of
condoms by American forces forestalls any improvement in the French
bloodline.

- World War II
- Lost. Conquered French liberated by the United States and Britain just as
they finish learning the Horst Wessel Song.

- War in Indochina
- Lost. French forces plead sickness; take to bed with the Dien Bien Flu

- Algerian Rebellion
- Lost. Loss marks the first defeat of a western army by a Non-Turkic Muslim
force since the Crusades, and produces the First Rule of Muslim Warfare; "We
can always beat the French." This rule is identical to the First Rules of
the Italians, Russians, Germans, English, Dutch, Spanish, Vietnamese and
Esquimaux.

- War on Terrorism
- France, keeping in mind its recent history, surrenders to Germans and
Muslims just to be safe. Attempts to surrender to Vietnamese ambassador fail
after he takes refuge in a McDonald's.

The question for any country silly enough to count on the French should not
be "Can we count on the French?", but rather "How long until France
collapses?"

"Going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an
accordion. All you do is leave behind a lot of noisy baggage."

Or, better still, the quote from last week's Wall Street Journal: "They're
there when they need you."
