I Love Obama!!!
11.04.08 (8:55 pm)   [edit]
He is my personal savior. I know that with him in charge all things will be right.

The price of gasoline will fall and my mortgage payments won't be a concern. I will have health care and free dental.

No countries will see us as their enemy and the world will see that peace has come.

I want my kids to become Obama Youth so they can learn to revere him and worship his likeness.

I love Obama.

The Skunk in the Closet is George Bush
11.04.08 (8:50 pm)   [edit]
The Republicans can this lay at the empty head of W with his fake conservatism and double dealing .

The Greenspan Meltdown and Depression
10.27.08 (6:41 pm)   [edit]
He looks rather pathetic now when he trundled in to testify before congress and he finally admitted to some level of error in judgement. It is a little late now.

The die is cast and is is quite clear that we are in for a nasty ride to the bottom. Those of you who are in stocks may find that you have wasted half of your life preparing for a retirement that now seems very far away. I can appreciate your situation, but it should now be evident that this Ponzi scheme was long running.

One thing I always found laughable was the concept that the market historically earned 10%. If you look at the history of the market, the modern market, we are only talking 100 years and what does that mean as actual evidence that you can count on this method of protecting wealth. They were selling dreams.

If there is anything to be learned from this disaster it is to ignore the so called experts.

Greenspan is an overrated bureaucrat and the idiots that believed him are now getting comeuppance.

1930's Stuff Headed for the Stock Market
09.28.08 (1:53 pm)   [edit]
It looks really ugly out there in financial circles. If you have stocks expect to be selling apples on the street by next Spring. This article in Financial Times more or less says that the boys at the top are scared to death about the death rattles the U.S. financial sector is going through.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/fi...

If it is a crash, good riddance to the money grubbers that got us here. Lots of them should be headed to prison.

Here is what we can all learn from this. Greed is bad. This endless preoccupation with material possession is the prescription that brought the U.S. to this point. It may also be the unwinding of the empire.

Get ready to live like they did 100 years ago.

American Collapse - The Bailout
09.25.08 (3:05 pm)   [edit]
This 700 Billion boondoggle will probably go down as the stupidest financial maneuver ever taken by a government, or shall I say an Oligarchy. We no longer live in a free country, though the day this happened could be marked much earlier than today.

I have to say thank you to those on the left and right that are fighting against this bailout of the financial system as it appears only to prolong the inevitable collapse of the system, not to prevent it.

Who knows if it would have happened anyway, we only may have had to deal with a nasty recession or depression, not the probable end of our way of life now that Uncle Sam owns the homes of it's subjects too. So the state owns everything. Wonderful.

Where were all of these concerned politicians over the past decade when these excesses took flight. I think many of them were on the receiving end of lobbyist favors and inducements.

This thing stinks.

This is the End!!!!! Financial Doom!!!!
09.23.08 (8:07 pm)   [edit]
The hesitation to fund the bailout may spell the doom of our financial markets. If they do spend the 700Billion then we are done anyway.

The good news is that here in the USA there is very little chance that it will end well. We have guns, criminals, and a huge glut of spoiled baby boomers that will never be able to accept a reduction to their standard of living.

Why I Like Bill Clinton as he is now.
09.23.08 (8:01 am)   [edit]
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/politics/2008195 867_apbillclintonpalin.html

I just read this article about an interview with Clinton. Having no horse in the race he seems to be willing to leave Palin alone. Interesting.

I have thought about this recently, how much we used to despise Clinton because of his early missteps when he got into office.

Looking back in hindsight, and having read many books about the behind the scenes activity, he was less of a philanderer than JFK, less of a crook than LBJ, less paranoid than Nixon, and smarter than our current Bush.

New Criticisms that Politically Correct Loan Standards Led to This Disaster
09.20.08 (5:48 pm)   [edit]
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=75717

This did come off of a right wing website, but the general argument that minority preferences required lowering loan standards is realistic. This same thing has happened in the educational realm. I know this will get many of the left wing multicultural elitists crazy with froth, but the argument is sound.

This begins to make perfect sense. First the loan standards were tossed out the window to allow more minority lending with the lofty goal of higher ownership among these groups. Once you drop the standards, then everyone can get the easy no-doc loan, no down payment, hell no payments.

Where my first post blaming Clinton for this mess was more of a tease, I now find that there may have been more to this than I originally thought. For those of you that remember, the no-doc loans didn't really take off until the 90's.

I know this will get some calling me racist and resorting to their old race baiting tactics, but it is hard to dispute that some event was required to lower the standards, and this may have begun the snowball rolling. It took Greenspan at the Fed to dump the money into the streets to make the other part of the equation work, low interest rates. He did this to avoid the recession right after the tech boom went bust. At least that one was confined to greedy idiots putting up money for companies with no earnings, only promises of earnings.

With lower standards and lower rates in place it became just a matter of time before the mess unraveled.

Blame Clinton and Democrats for the Housing Meltdown
09.18.08 (7:13 pm)   [edit]
I found this editorial and it makes as much sense as anything else I have read on the subject. The title of this blog post is designed to point the finger back at the Pelosi crowd rather than blame it all on Republican greed, as if they cornered the market on greed and avarice.

http://www.ibdeditorials.com/...

It seems slick willie and his cohorts really wanted to give housing loans to minorities even if they didn't qualify for loans and couldn't pay them back. So, they forced the banks to give loans that they normally wouldn't have made. This definitely started the ball rolling.

One thing is clear though, it went well beyond that and eventually allowed anyone with a pulse to get a loan on nearly anything whether they could pay or not.

This nightmare isn't over, but may just be beginning. Worse yet is that by nationalizing all of these businesses the Bush Administration has gone the way of every other failed government. This is usually the worst thing to do.

The GreenSpan Depression
09.14.08 (7:14 pm)   [edit]
It seems that little Allie, Ayn Rand's pet name for her acolyte back in the 50's, is now trying to derail the McCain election surge by trashing the tax cut idea. I admit that tax cuts at this point seem pointless, but Greenspan did this before with Bush 1 and cost him the election. So don't turn you back on little Allie.

To quote little Allie, "I'm not in favor of financing tax cuts with borrowed money."

Except of course, when I was getting paid to handle the money supply and I poured the money from helicopters into the credit markets for a decade.

He said this is a once a century event, actually about every 75 years, but who is counting. That is how long your average currency survives.

He caused this as much as anyone, of course with the complicit help of all of the ruling government elites in Washington.

The game is almost up and we shall all surely pay for it.

Just to be clear about it, I blame it all on the Democrats. Just kidding, though they are stinkers, there is plenty of blame to go around.

I would like to blame them, but in the end we can blame human nature. Greed!!!!!

I will sit back and enjoy the show simply because what else can we do. The backbiting begins. LOL

Hold onto your wallets.

Speech Compliance on Display - Moslem VS Muslim
09.12.08 (7:19 am)   [edit]
The left has a way of wanting to control speech. They actually do change the language to suit their intended steering of the culture. Take the example Gay Vs Homosexual or African American Vs Black. Sometimes done at the level of controlling the dictionary by left wing adherents, it is also accomplished by attempted shaming and bullying.

Examples abound, but a recent one comes to mind. I have been told to use the word Muslim instead of Moslem as it is a derisive term used only by right wing bigots and racists. Actually, I was told that my use of moslem denotes my world view. It couldn't be that I use a different dictionary or took my lessons in a different school system.

Going to the online site dictionary.com - Check this out. http://dictionary.reference.c...

There is no difference stated in the definition and moslem is not listed as antiquated or out of use. It may be simple cultural arrogance on the part of some supposedly left leaning Americans to think that the way their media has chosen to describe a particular group of religious believers is the way all must do it. The words are interchangeable and the average tube watcher probably only knows what the media elites profess as the correct way to say things.

For the sake of long term understanding of this speech compliance approach taken by the left I suggest you take a screen shot of the dictionary.com page and look at it a few years from now. It is possible that all will be brought into compliance for purposes of directive thinking. Think Doublethink, Doublespeak, and New Speak.

I often use words that hit hot buttons simply to watch the left wing frogs jump, but in this case it was an unintentional placing of bait for the race hustlers on the left.

The Real Hanoi Jane is a traitor
11.16.04 (6:46 pm)   [edit]

She really was a traitor.

A TRAITOR IS ABOUT TO BE HONORED
KEEP THIS MOVING ACROSS AMERICA

This is for all the kids born in the 70's who do
not remember, and didn't have to bear the
burden that our fathers, mothers and older
brothers and sisters had to bear.

Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the
"100 Women of the Century."

Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still
countless others have never known how Ms.
Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country,
but specific men who served and sacrificed
during Vietnam.

The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot.

The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat.

In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF
Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison
the "Hanoi Hilton."

Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell,
cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was
ordered to describe for a visiting American
"Peace Activist" the "lenient and humane
treatment" he'd received.

He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was
dragged away.
During the subsequent beating, he fell forward
on to the camp Commandant's feet, which
sent that officer berserk.

In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from
double vision (which permanently ended his
flying career) from the Commandant's frenzied
application of a wooden baton.

From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the
47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the
"Hanoi Hilton",,, the first three of which his
family only knew he was "missing in action".
His wife lived on faith that he was still alive.
His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and
clothed routine in preparation for a
"peace delegation" visit.
They, however, had time and devised a plan to
get word to the world that they were alive
and still survived. Each man secreted a tiny
piece of paper, with his Social Security Number
on it, in the palm of his hand.

When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a
cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each
man's hand and asking little encouraging
snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed
babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane
treatment from your benevolent captors?"
Believing this HAD to be an act, they each
palmed her their sliver of paper.
She took them all without missing a beat. At the
end of the line and once the camera stopped
rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs,
she turned to the officer in charge and handed
him all the little pieces of paper.

Three men died from the subsequent beatings.
Colonel Carrigan was almost number four
but he survived, which is the only reason we
know of her actions that day.

I was a civilian economic development advisor
in Vietnam, and was captured by the North
Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in
1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.

I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one
year in a cage in Cambodia; and one year
in a "black box" in Hanoi.
My North Vietnamese captors deliberately
poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a
nurse in a leprosarium in Ban me Thuot, South
Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the
Cambodian border.
At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs.
(My normal weight is 170 lbs.)

We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals."

When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by
the camp communist political officer if I would
be willing to meet with her.

I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real
treatment we POWs received... and how
different it was from the treatment purported by
the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as
"humane and lenient."

Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky
floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched
with a large steel weights placed on my hands,
and beaten with a bamboo cane.

I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda
soon after I was released. I asked her
if she would be willing to debate me on TV.
She never did answer me.

These first-hand experiences do not exemplify
someone who should be honored as part
of "100 Years of Great Women."
Lest we forget..." 100 Years of Great Women"
should never include a traitor whose hands are
covered with the blood of so many patriots.

There are few things I have strong visceral
reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in
blatant treason, is one of them.
Please take the time to forward to as many
people as you possibly can.
It will eventually end up on her computer and
she needs to know that we will never forget.

Ten Reasons to Vote for Kerry
10.25.04 (12:25 am)   [edit]
1. You are a Marxist Democrat.

2. You see the UN as the future world governor and like the idea.

3. You hate violence unless it is directed at conservatives, Republicans, or anyone who disagrees with you.

4. You find the idea of killing Jews in Israel more acceptable than detaining and interrogating Islamic terrorists.

5. Guns are bad except in the hands of police or Islamic terrorists.

6. You want a first lady who is an elitist euro-phile who sucks down gin soaked raisins hourly and curses like a HO.

7. You don't mind a con artist as your President though you hated Nixon for his one lie.

9. You want a blood sucking trial lawyer V.P. one heartbeat away from running the country.

10. You believe the government is the best answer to solve problems except when run by Republicans.

Early voting brings cries of bullying...

Bush/Cheney Cincinnati headquarters robbed...

Republican Party headquarters in Flagstaff vandalized...

Republican Party senior adviser Mindy Tucker Fletcher said she had more than a dozen affidavits from voters around the state that would be forwarded to Hood's office.

According to the affidavits Fletcher released:

One woman who voted early in Boca Raton, at the Southwest County Regional Library, complained that as she stood in line, two men behind her were "trashing our president," Fletcher said, declining to identify the woman. She tried to ignore them. Then the man touched her arm and said, "Who are you voting for?"

"I said, `I don't think that's an appropriate question,'" the woman said she responded.

"Uh oh! We have a Bush supporter here," screamed the man behind her.

For the 2 1/2 hours she had to wait in line, she was heckled by the man. As they neared the voting room, someone in the rear of the line yelled, "I sure hope everyone here is voting for Kerry!" she reported.

That's when the man behind her held his hand over her head and screamed, "We have a Republican right here!" There were "boos and jeers" from the crowd.

"I felt intimidated, harassed and threatened!" the woman wrote in her complaint to the Republican Party.

Elaine Fandino complained to the Republican Party that she took her mother to vote on South Military Trail in Palm Beach County and was confronted by 25 people supporting John Kerry for president. The crowd was "very angry and used foul language," she reported. She said the man next to her said, "Where's my shotgun?"

In Broward County, at the regional library in Pembroke Pines, a voter complained that Kerry supporters used abusive language about President Bush and had signs and banners within 50 feet of the entrance.

Kerry supporters were "shoving anti-Bush propaganda at us," complained the voter, who said he shouted back "Vote President Bush!"

A woman who voted in Plantation at the West Regional Courthouse said she was offended to see five or six people with "huge stick on badges" for Kerry/Edwards, standing near the voting machines.

"Never in all the years of voting do we remember being allowed to show a badge or poster or literature while inside the area where the voters are standing ready to cast their vote," she wrote.

Juan D'Arce of Miami complained to the Republicans that he tried early voting in downtown Miami. He was wearing a Bush pin, but he couldn't stand the taunting, so he turned away and did not vote.

My Halliburton Vacation - WMDs Found
10.17.04 (9:41 am)   [edit]
Hello all of my fellow compatriots and you lefties out there. Sorry I haven't been around to help keep the discussion alive. I know I missed lots of great lib screeds on how all Bush supporters are Nazis. It makes my heart warm to think that our opponents think of us as so well dressed, you know those Nazi uniforms were rather spiffy, especially with the high collars.

Anyway, to the subject.

I had some fun over there in the hot and sweaty part of the world for the past 3 weeks, part of my job. Things are going better in Iraq than you lib media types will care to admit. By that I mean that the oil is flowing and my Bush buddies are raking in lots of cash from slimy non-competitive contracts. Isn't that what you left leaning pro-commie fruitcakes want to hear.

You don't want to hear that people in most cities aren't getting bombed.

You don't want to hear that lots of kids are getting into schools that didn't exist before the war, girls especially.

Best of all, you don't want to hear that some Iraqis take seriously the idea that they have an opportunity to chart their own direction without the boot-heel of a dictator threatening their lives. Instead they have to fight against the Islamic insugents whom, like the left is here, are intent on forcing their poxed view of the world on the citizenry.

I also want you to know that I found the reason why the WMDs disappeared.

Michael Moore ate them. :)

When Bush Wins
09.30.04 (1:51 pm)   [edit]
I just want to see if you guys are awake out there. All I see are anti-bush headlines. I feel overwhelmed. Here is my own spin.

Since Bush and his supporters are nothing but Nazis according to the left we will do this in you-wish-we-were-Nazi-spe ak. Be careful what you wish for, it might give us ideas.

When Bush wins I expect to be made Gauleiter of the Internet.

Using the patriot act secretly known as the axis of evil act added to the axis powers agreement signed in Berlin 1936 the following actions will commence.

Tribunals and flying blog squads will round up those guilty of disloyalty to the concept of fairness as defined by the winning party and its representatives.

Commit all resources available in the aptly renamed Fatherland Security Agency to study and correct all questionable writings that have been posted on the Internet.

Bloggers found guilty of any crimes and any actions deemed crimes would be sent to labor and re-education camps. Work will consist of cleaning up debris from the newly created minefield border between the U.S. and Mexico. Watch your step.

No computers or writing materials will be available.

Re-education: Readings of the Original bill of Rights and the Constitution.

Guns will lie in stacks everywhere. No ammunition provided. You will then learn what it is like to want the tools to fight oppression. This is a twelve-step process.

Other punishments will include required bathing and forced viewing of the following movies.

Red Dawn - Once daily
The Manchurian Candidate - 1st version
Sands of Iwo Jima
ToBruk
Starship Troopers
The Guns of Navarone
Why We Fight
Knob Hill Machine gun shootout
Soldier of fortune convention series
The Cross of Iron
Sea Power Series
We Were Soldiers

Daily morning and evening replays of the Bush Florida Certification in 2000. Those acting out will be strapped in their chairs and tranquilized while their eyes are held open in Clockwork Orange style.

Daily readings of "Unfit for Command" will be given and attendance is mandatory.

Upon one year of internment and completion of a loyalty test individuals will be released into the newly formatted society known as Version 4 where all previous versions will be removed and the reset date for the country will be 1950.

Those unable to adapt will be shipped off to Canada or France.

Anyone can avoid this treatment by going to Saudi Arabia or Iran and showing evidence that they attempted to protest for Democrat style reforms. Those with a head still remaining may reapply for U.S. Citizenship. We will get back to you on it.

Just a thought.

Flipper 2
09.30.04 (1:30 am)   [edit]
The second flipper is a paid party hack blogger that spams this site with endless postings that he grabs from the Dem-war-room ministry of propaganda. Most of his screeds aren't worth reading. Some are entertaining in the way you might want to guess which designer chemicals he experimented with to achieve the level of paranoia and delusional rantings he has posted.

No this isn't about the dolphin. I liked him and considered him intelligent compared to the nuanced one.

Presidential contender Kerry has a problem sticking to one side of an argument.

Kerry got his butt handed to him by Diane Sawyer when she asked him about his "voted for it before I voted against it comment."

The fool told her he was tired since it was a late night appearance. It turns out it was in the middle of the day. His misstatements are aren't helping him.

As Mark Twain once said, "Stick to the truth, it's easier to remember."

Anybody but Kerry.

09.29.04 (11:09 pm)   [edit]
I guess I must have posted some unpopular comments on this flipsidedown's blog. I have been blocked and am not sure if all users have been.

If so, this is just to let everyone know that reading a blog that doesn't allow comments feels like a waste of time.

A few other lib bloggers told me they blocked comments due to threats. A number of them allowed me to post after asking them about it. Thanks for being reasonable.

I haven't made any against anyone. So please, unless I am really nasty to you, do not prevent me from posting on your blog. Otherwise, I simply won't bother reading anything you post and will recommend others do the same.

Don't Waste Your Time - these are agitprop flyers from the Pro-Dem Camp.

This is a current list of blocked blogs in the political section that have disabled the comment function.

These are all Democrat-Liberal blogs. Moderates and Right Wingers might not want to waste their time on these unless they plan to post a blog to counter these postings.

These sites are the equivalent of someone screaming at you while they wear headphones. Not much communication here.

I have begun to notice a pattern where the leftie blogs do not allow comments. It seems they are still clinging to the old media ways of controlling opinion and not allowing alternate thoughts.

If you don't have the courage to accept commentary it is evident that you know your postings would not stand up against factual rebuttal.
